House Fire Point Place, Toledo, Ohio

This doll was pulled from a house fire in Toledo Ohio. The homeowner was heart broken that her doll collection was, what she thought lost in the fire. She had an extensive collection of porcelain dolls in curio cabinets in her dining room. The fire was a kitchen fire that destroyed the kitchen and dining room. The cabinets in which the dolls were housed had all the glass broken out of them and the wood was severely charred. we were able to retrieve the dolls and take them back to our warehouse and where they were cleaned by our contents specialists.  Imagine her surprise when she saw just how beautiful they looked when we returned them!
